Lines are the beginning of form and the foundation of structure.​ Although a line may appear complex, in reality each one begins somewhere and ends somewhere, and so in that way, both lines and life have a similar sense of simplicity. As I engage with art as a means of exploring and expressing the truths of life from my unique point of view, my work largely centers around the use of lines to represent the perspectives, emotions, and various intricate aspects of the human experience.​

Much of my inspiration draws from the various dynamics I observe in my interactions with others, my admiration of the infinite beauty in the world around me, and the biblical insights I discover in my spiritual life as a Christian. This array of influential avenues translates into a diversity of practices in the media that I create, including but not limited to drawings, paintings, sculptures, and poetry. Outside of my own individual pursuit, it is important that the work I do encourages authentic self-expression and creates a space for mutual understanding with others, as I hope to further inspire creativity as a means for meaningful conversation and connection.
